Southwestern public health is seeking the public’s help in finding a dog that bit a person on Woodall Way Monday at about 11:25 a.m.

Public health described the dog as a large black mixed breed with white fur around its face and neck – potentially a black-lab cross. The owner was a described as an older woman wearing a pink waist-length coat and a light-coloured toque.

The health unit is hoping to gain information to assess the risk of exposure to the rabies virus.
